Anna D. Lott, 91, of Reading, PA, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2017 several days after celebrating her 91st birthday. Anna aka “Butchie” enjoyed sports and the outdoors. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending and watching football and baseball games. . . . Go Phillies and Green Bay Packers!!! Anna loved and appreciated her friends and adored Brett, her cat and constant companion the last few years of her life.
She is survived by her son Gary Lott and grandchildren Meghan and Derryck Lott. Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Curtis “Corky” Lott and her grandson Jared Lott.
She was lovingly cared for the last few years of her life by her “adopted” children – Scott, Robin, Bryan and Jody Bossler, along with her many friends who were always there for her including a caring and compassionate neighbor. Heartfelt thanks and gratitude goes out to them, Office of the Aging, Berks VNA, Meals on Wheels and Caring Matters Home Care Agency for their participation and assistance in fulfilling her wish and enabling her to remain independent and in her home of more than 50 years.
A visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, Septmeber 16, 2017 from 1pm - 2pm with a memorial service beginning at 2pm in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be held at Charles Evans Cemetery privately at the request of the family. In lieu fo flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, Pennsylvania 19508. Lutz Funeral Home Inc., Mount Penn in charge of arrangements.
