Michael J. Lutz

Michael J. Lutz, 49, of Exeter Township, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Lisa A. (Wagner) Lutz. Born in Lynnwood, CA, he was a son of the late Charles W. Lutz and Elaine Marie (Anderson) Lutz of Hanford, CA. Mike was a member of the Reading Liederkranz and loved hunting, and hiking, especially at Yosemite. He loved watching Ethan play sports and loved working with Chuck on construction projects and enjoyed spending time with his family. Mike was a friend to everyone. He was the quality control specialist for Berks Homes for over 18 years. It was more than a job to him, as his co-workers also became a part of his family. In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by: Two Sons: Charles “Chuck” Lutz and Ethan Lutz both at home; One Brother: Christian N. of Studio City, CA; One Sister: Kathaleen wife of Anthony Carri of Hanford, CA as well as many nieces and nephews, a wonderful extended family and lots of friends. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9:00-11:00 A.M. with a Celebration of Life Service following at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 3, 2015 in Schwarzwald Lutheran Church 250 Church Lane Road Reading, PA 19606. In honor of Mike, please dress casual. Interment private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mike to the American Cancer Society 498 E.
