Mark A. Allgaier, 44, of West Chester, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Chester County Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Calvin and Peggy (Lamma) Allgaier. Mark graduated from Antietam High School, and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Shippensburg University. In recent years, he worked as an electrical designer at PECO. Outside of work, Mark spent his free time volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Philadelphia which was an important organization to him. Mark faced many ups and downs with his health while receiving treatment. Although he was recently making progress, his condition took an unexpected turn and he was ultimately taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his condition.

Mark is survived by his brother Matthew R. Allgaier; his aunts and uncles, Florence and Earl Dunkelberger, Margie and Michael Shearer, and William and Sandra Lamma; his cousins, Earl Dunkelberger, Kevin Dunkelberger, Jeff Pahl, Katie Druckenmiller, wife of Peter, Becky Thren, wife of Matthew, Amanda Zerr, wife of William, and Allison Lamma. Mark is also survived by the children of his cousins, Hannah, PJ, Grace, Quinn, Dylan, and Abigail, who fondly referred to him as "Uncle Mark." He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Betty Lamma, and his parents Calvin and Peggy Allgaier.
