Mary L. Tidwell

Mary L. (Lambert) Tidwell, 91, of Shillington, PA, went peacefully into the embrace of her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Heritage of Green Hills. She was the wife of the late Ottice "Tid" Tidwell. She was born in Ellsworth, Kansas. Her entire childhood was spent in Wilson, Kansas where her parents, the late James and Leona (Tobias) Lambert lived their entire lives. Mary graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Business Administration in 1955. In college she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She retired from the "old" original AT&T, having held management positions in Kansas City, New York, and New Jersey. She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood since 1953, as well as NorthStar UMC.

Mary is survived by her son Jay Tidwell, husband of Kelly, of Hagerstown, MD, her daughter Jana Wanser, wife of Jim, of Reading, PA, and her step-daughter Lee Nordmark, wife of Penelope Brown, of Prineville, OR. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Joshua "Jess" and Rebecca "Bex" Tidwell, Kathryn Polk, Danielle and Conner Wanser, Michael, Lisa, Dina, and Nicholas Andretta, as well as seven great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her step-daughter Carolyn "Lyn" Andretta.

A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Loudon, TN.
