Dorothy E. Mast (Strouse)

Dorothy E. (Strouse) Mast, 87, of Exeter Township, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in Complete Care At Berkshire. She was the wife of the late Ralph S. Mast. Born in Stowe, PA, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Sadie M. (Ruffner) Strouse. Dorothy served in the Peace Corps for some time, and participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for many years with her family. She was an avid sewer, quilter, and knitter. Dorothy always loved doing her diamond paintings and spending time with family.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Denise Rohrbaugh, wife of Joseph, Charlene Hollenbach, Pamela Burkhart, wife of Michael, and Deborah Vesci, wife of Joseph; her grandchildren Chad Morrison, husband of Victoria, Shane Swavely, Amanda Morrison, Patrick Swavely, husband of Dana, Kaylene Hollenbach, companion of Nathaniel Swartz, Bethany Wysolmerski, wife of Michael, Ryan Masternak, Nicholas Vesci, companion of Melissa Lynn Hollawell, and Joey Vesci, husband of Michelle; her great-granchildren CJ, Cameron, Ella, Jack, Kadence, Travis, Alexis, and Eva; and her beloved dog Millie. She was preceded in death by her daughter Beverly Moyer, and her siblings Conrad Stettenbauer, Earl Strouse, Gladys Schoop, Alberta Fisher, Emma Will, and Anna G.Fisher.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be at Oley Valley Mennonite Church Cemetery, Oley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
