ANN C.(DUNKLEBERGER) MAZZO 77, OF WYOMISSING PASSED AWAY ON FRIDAY
SEPTEMBER 21st, 2018 IN THE HOSPITAL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA. SHE WAS THE WIFE OF JOHN MAZZO. BORN IN FRACKVILLE,PENNSYLVANIA, SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE CHARLES L. DUNKLEBERGER and MARGARET COPE DUNKLEBERGER.

SHE GRADUATED CLASS OF 1958 from READING HIGH SCHOOL AND ATTENDED
KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY. SHE DECIDED TO ENTER the RETAIL industry AND WENT TO WORK FOR POMEROY'S. Ann MARRIED her NEIGHBOR from SOUTH SIXTH STREET, JOHN MAZZO AND BECAME THE BUYER FOR THE LADIES DEPARTMENT IN HER HUSBAND’S SHOP.

SHE LOVED HER CATS CELIA, NORTON, SALLY, MOSES AND SISTER LUCY MARIE (THEY ARE IN CAT HEAVEN). SHE WAS ENDOWED WITH A WIDE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. She LOVED TO READ AND TAKE LONG WALKS.

THE FAMILY SUMMERED AT THEIR STONE HARBOR COTTAGE FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS, WINTERED IN KEY WEST, TRAVELED ANNUALLY TO BERMUDA AND SPENT LOTS OF TIME AT THE HOMESTEAD IN VIRGINIA AND COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG WHERE THEY WERE LONG TIME CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF THE BURGESS SOCIETY.

SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE LADIES AUXILIARY BOARD AT THE READING HOSPITAL FOR MANY YEARS, A CONTRIBUTOR AND VOLUNTEER AT THE WETLANDS INSTITUTE IN STONE HARBOR, AND ST MARY'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH.

IN ADDITION TO HER HUSBAND OF 57 YEARS,SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER CHILDREN, NOELE, WIFE OF ALAN WEIN MD (PHD) HON, PANDORA, Fiance OF KEN COCHRAN, AND JOHN A. MAZZO II; GRANDCHILDREN, HER PRIDE AND JOY, JOSHUA, NOLAN, JOSEPH AND PARIS. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY A SISTER KAY. Ann WAS PRE-DECEASED BY A BROTHER RONALD.

AT ANN’S REQUEST THERE WILL BE NO SERVICES; THE FAMILY PLANS TO CELEBRATE HER LIFE AT A LATER DATE.
