Virginia Mccrabb

Virginia J. McCrabb, 92, formerly of Reading, passed away Thursday, December 31st, 2015 in The Highlands at Wyomissing. She was the widow of J. Harold McCrabb who passed away December 27, 2012. Born in Lancaster, she was daughter of the late W. Park and A. Elizabeth (Fetter) Norton. Virginia was a graduate of McCaskey High School and the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of The Wyomissing Church of the Brethren. Virginia worked alongside her husband in their business, Reading Stamp Works. Virginia is survived by one son, David McCrabb, husband of Elaine Foss McCrabb; two daughters, Sharon M., wife of Dennis E. Franklin, and Judy K. wife of Craig Martin; three grandchildren, Kelly Georgeou, John Franklin and Jessica Martin; four great-grandchildren, Anna and Nick Franklin, and Paige and Adriana Georgeou. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Stephen Martin; a brother, William P. Norton; and her sister, Jeannette Cooper. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606 on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016.
