James L Mccullough

James L. McCullough, 71, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of Deborah A. (Kurtz) McCullough, of Reading, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage with. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lee and Iva (Fair) McCullough. Jim graduated from Reading High School in 1968. He was a member of the Skyline Drive Corvette Club, bowled a "300" in the major leagues at Bowl-o-Rama, and was the drummer for the Nite Times band in the 1960's. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Jim worked at Novipax, formerly W.R. Grace, as a Supervisor for 50 years until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his sons; Sean J., of Reading, and Matthew D., of Reading. He is also survived by two granddaughters; Abigail, and Gabrielle. Jim was predeceased by his sister, Lynne Denunzio.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with services beginning at 2:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt.
