W. Thomas McCullough, 84 of Douglassville passed away May 7th, 2013 in his residence surrounded by family members and his Grand Dog, Buddy. He was the husband of the late Heidi E. McCullough. Tom was born in Boston, MA. He was the son of Thomas A. and Frances V. (Dalton) McCullough. He was a Korean War Army veteran and Life Member of the American Legion. Tom was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his many friends at the Reading Country Club. He loved to read and collected hundreds of books on military history and he read every one of them. In 1976 he founded and operated Mt. Penn Tool & Machine Co., Carbides, Inc. and Steel Mill Equipment, Inc. until he retired in 1999. Tom was also a director of Union Bank & Trust Co. in Pottsville, PA and served for many years as Chairman of the Board. Tom is survived by a Son Thomas A. McCullough husband of Janet of Southampton, Daughters Susan McCullough of Feasterville and Judith Ann McCullough of Hatboro.
Step daughter Karen A. Power of Houston, TX and step son Frederick S. Rehhausser of Birdsboro, Grandchildren Christine, James and Thomas A. McCullough, Great grandchildren Armida, Alicia and Sophie McCullough, and Step Granddaughter Katrina Power.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
