Hugh M. Mcneill Jr.

Hugh M. McNeill, Jr, 83, of Elverson, passed away Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the widower of Alberta C. (Tazik) McNeill who passed away September 14, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Hugh M. Sr. and Kathleen (Colfer) McNeill. Hugh was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and he was a member of St. Peter’s R.C.C. East Brandywine, however he attended St. Benedicts R.C.C. Plowville. Hugh was a supervisor for Acme Markets for 30 years until his retirement. He is survived by: Two Sons: Hugh J. McNeill husband of Kathy S. of Exeter Township and John M. McNeill at home; Three Grandchildren: Jennifer, Christine and Kaitlyn and One Brother: Robert McNeill husband of Patricia of West Chester, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in St. Benedicts R.C.C. 2020 Chestnut Hill Road Mohnton, PA 19540. Interment private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Benedicts R.C.C. at the above stated address or the Twin Valley American Legion 4499 N.
