Larry H. Merkel

Larry H. Merkel, 75 of Exeter, passed away on October 31, 2014. He was the loving husband of Barbara A. (Wagner) Merkel.
Born in Reading he was a son of the late Russel Merkel and Violet (Kulp) Kreider.
Larry was a roofer for 50 years. Most of those years were spent with Muthard Roofing. Later he worked as part time driver for CJ Tires for a number of years.
In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by two daughters: Vickie wife of Cory Miller of Exeter and Cinda wife of David Barth of Elverson as well as four grandchildren: Morgan, Chad, Cole, Ryan and one great grandchild Dempsey and one great grandchild on the way. He is also survived by one brotherRussel husband of Elaine and one sister Stacy wife of Jim Manning and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday November 5th from 9:00 am – 10:00 am with Services beginning at 10:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt. Penn. Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
