Theresa M. Merolli (Dauksha)

Theresa M. (Dauksha) Merolli, 87, of Exeter, passed away on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021, at The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Nicholas J. Merolli, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roman Dauksha and Sophie Dauksha (Mazalewski). She graduated from Shamokin High School, Class of 1951 and was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C., where she was Treasurer of the 50+ Club. Theresa worked in the Accounting Department of General Battery/Exide for many years until her retirement in 2000.

Theresa is survived by one son, Nicholas J. Merolli, husband of Stella, of Pensacola Beach, FL; two daughters, Sharon A. Merolli of Collegeville, and Shirl A. Lutterschmidt, wife of the late Dennis Lutterschmidt, of Kutztown; two grandsons, Nicholas and Matthew; one brother, Victor J. Dauksha of Hilton, NY.; and cousin Mary Thomas. She is preceded in death by a sister Marie Stanton and cousin Edward Kazar.

Theresa's family is very grateful to the staffs of The Henry Health Care Center at The Lutheran Home at Topton and Bayada Hospice for their outstanding compassionate care.
