Patricia L. Metzler

Patricia L. Metzler, 66, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Thursday, March 27th, 2014 in St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Stokes) Metzler. Patricia was a 1965 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and Reading Area Community College with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She was a member of St. Thomas U.C.C. Reading and was most recently a member of Crossway Church-Mohnton and participated with the Bible Study. Patricia was an Operating Room Registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 35 years until retiring. She is survived by one Son: Brian R. Metzler, husband of Jeanine of Sinking Spring, one Granddaughter: Emma Ann Metzler and three Sisters: Linda L. Metzler, Debra S. Metzler, both of Blandon and Jeanne M. Metzler of Shenandoah. She was pre-deceased by one Brother, Ronald J. Metzler and on e Sister, Roberta J. Metzler. The family will receive friends and relativesfrom 10:00-11:00 A.M. with services beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. Mt. Penn.
