Luciana Meyer

Dr. Luciana Maria (Wertheimer von Ranshofen) Meyer, late of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, and Largo, Florida, died July 1, 2017, at age 96 in Largo. Widow of Dr. Richard Hemmig Meyer, a Reading native. Born in Schloss Ranshofen, Branau-am-Inn, Austria, only child of Baron Egon F. and Mathilde (Junger) Wertheimer von Ranshofen. With her economist husband, pursued professional lives in New York, Washington and Europe, most recently teaching Soviet history at Franklin College, Lugano, Switzerland. Also predeceased by her close companion of 20 years, Boris Kodrè of Largo, Florida. Survived by nieces and nephews. Interment with Richard in the cemetery of the U.S. Military Academy, West Point.
