Michael J. Posta Sr.

Michael J. Posta Sr., 74, of Reading, PA, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in his home. He was previously married to the late Donna S. (Reed) Funk. Born in West Wyomissing, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph B. Posta and Florence (Eisenhhower) Saltzer. Michael graduated from Wilson High School and worked as an auto mechanic for many years until his retirement. He loved auto racing and spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his children; Michael J. Posta Jr., husband of Jeanette, of California, James Posta, husband of the late Bobbie Jo, of Sinking Spring, and Joseph B. Posta, husband of Chrissy of New Jersey. He is also survived by four grandchildren and his sisters, JoAnne, Jacquline, and Lynda. Michael was predeceased by his sister Elaine.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 beginning at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606.
