Betty M. Moyer (Gehring)

Betty M. (Gehring) Moyer, 90, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Frank Moyer. Born in Reading, Pa, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna (Kline) Gehring. Betty graduated from Mt. Penn High School class of 1948. She was a devoted, loving wife and mother.

Betty is survived by her children; Martin A. Moyer, David S. husband of Cherri Moyer, Leanda M. Deisher, Donna F. Moyer, one grandson Michael L. husband of Jennifer L. Deisher, and three great-grandsons Tyler, Brendan, and Nathan Deisher. She is also survived by two brothers Robert and Charles. Betty was predeceased by her son Frank O, four sisters, and three brothers.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday April 30, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with services beginning at 12:30 p.m. in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Rd, Exeter Township, PA 19606.
