Janet Neuheimer

Janet E. Neuheimer, 83, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the Berks Heim. She was the widow of Albert J. Neuheimer who passed away June 22, 2013 . Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Haas) Hiester. Janet was a graduate of Shillington High School in 1950 and was a member of Schwarzwald U.C.C.-Jacksonwald. She enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles, game shows and "Blue Blood". Janet enjoyed doing things with her family, especially her grandchildren, reading and crossword puzzles. She was the manager of National Cleaners in Reading for 3 years, retiring in June 1994. Janet is survived by two daughters, Tonya Neuheimer of Leesport and Deborah H. Alfiero of Exeter Township; one son, Eric Neuheimer of Muhlenberg; five grandchildren and one sister, Marilyn Miller of Fleetwood. Services and Interment private at the convenience of the family.
