Miriam G. (Hare) Noll, 103, formerly of Temple, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020, in Berkshire Center. She was the wife of Stanley Noll who passed away on June 14, 1989. Born in Lower Alsace Township, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Annie (Schwambach) Hare. Miriam was a member of Zion Spies Evangelical Reformed Church and was the owner/operator of the former Noll's Meat Market in Reading for 28 years, retiring in 1978. Miriam loved her dogs, crocheting, baking and volunteering at the church.
Miriam is survived by one daughter Linda N. wife of John C. Carlson, Exeter Township. She was a proud grandmother to Kevin D. Noll, partner of Robin Burton of Albrightsville, Benjamin T. Carlson, husband of Lindsay, Muhlenberg Township, and her great grandchildren Stella and Sophie whom she called her honey buns and loved them so dearly. Miriam is also survived by her nephew Dennis (Mary Beth) and niece Marcia. She is predeceased by her brothers Edward Hare, Robert Hare and sister June Rothenberger.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm with services beginning at 2:30 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Interment will be at Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made Zion Spies Evangelical Church 318 Spies Church Rd. Reading, Pa 19606 .
