Betty M. Nowotarski (Mittower)

Betty M. Nowotarski, 81, formerly of Muhlenberg Twp, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the residence of her daughter in Erial, New Jersey. Her husband of 55 years, Richard H. “Moon” Nowotarski passed away on September 11, 2006. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Seidel) Mittower. Betty was a member of St. Peter’s R.C.C.-Reading. She was the former recording secretary and president of the East Reading Swim Association and was a life member of the Southern Junior High School Alumni Association. Betty is survived by: Two Sons: Robert M. husband of Debra Nowotarski of Exeter Twp., and Frank E. Nowotarski , husband of Lori Nowotarski of Muhlenberg Twp; Two Daughters: Richette E. wife of Barry Suski of Cumru Twp. And Jodi L. wife of Scott Kendall with whom she resided; Fifteen Grandchildren and Nineteen Great-Grandchildren with 3 on the way. Sister: Ruth J. widow of Chester Miller. She was pre-deceased by a son Richard H. Nowotarski, Jr., husband of Teresa, on June 2, 2012 and a daughter Donna Kowalski , wife of John Kowalski, Sr., on April 18, 2006.
