William R. Orth Jr.

William R. Orth, Jr., 49, of West Lawn, passed away Sunday, August 25th, 2013 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Reading, he was the son of William R. and Carol A.(Vilardo) Orth of Reading. William was a graduate of Reading High School in 1982. He was a member of the United Rubber Workers, United Steelworkers of America AFL-CIO-CLC and Victor Emmanual II Society. William worked at Bachman’s, at Occidental Chemical for 17 years and most recently he was a well rounded employee for PennDot. In addition to his parents, William is survived by one son; Nicholas W. and one daughter; Amanda K, both of Mohnton. He was so very proud of the accomplishments of his children. Also survived by one sister, Christine M., wife of Jeffrey Leinbach of St. Lawrence and one nephew, Justin P. Bill is survived by his companion Amy O’Neill and the mother of his children, Julia Braun, who was also his caregiver, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services from the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn on Thursday at 12:00 noon. Friends may call Wednesday Evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery.
