Betty G. Ostachowski (Grime)

Betty G. (Grime) Ostachowski, 90, of Mt Penn, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in her residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Ostachowski, who passed away July 8, 2004. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Frymoyer) Grime. Betty was a member of St. Catherine Of Siena R.C.C, and worked as a candy packer for James P. Linette Candy Company for 38 years, retiring in 1995.

Betty is survived by her nieces Pat Schleicher, Chris Schleicher, Joan Goncher, and her great-nieces Linda and Sara. She is also survived by her best friend Amy, who helped her and took care of her for many years.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Of Siena Chapel, 2425 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, Pennsylvania 19606. Interment will be at Mohnsville Cemetery, 310 West Madison Street, Mohnton, Pennsylvania 19540. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Catharine's Church Memorial Fund ,2425 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, Pennsylvania 19606 .
