Cherryle Patton

Cherryle D. Patton, 72, of Reading , passed away Monday, February 22 2016 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Patrick C. Patton. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Clyde A. and Mary Jane (Strause) Fegley. Cherryle was a proud member of the United States Marines as well as the Women in Military Service for America Memorial Foundation. She was a very strong supporter of veterans rights. Cherryle had a College Degree in Child Psychology and was a UC Represenative for the Dept. of Labor and Industry for over 20 years where she served as a shop steward for the union. She loved gardening, cooking and mostly her family. Cherryle is survived by one son Michael S. husband of Cindy L. of Laureldale, two daughters Tonya wife of Joseph Casari of Lower Alsace and Dawn M. Patton of Muhlenberg. She is also survived by two grandchildren Sean R. Patton , Alexis M. Casari and 7 sisters and 2 brothers. She was pre deceased by one sister. A graveside service will be held on Friday February 26 at 11:00 am in the Charles Evans Cemetery 1119 Centre Ave, Reading PA 19601.
