Richard R. Patton, 77, of Exeter Township, passed away, Monday, August 17, 2015. He was the widower of Paula A. (Spadafora) Patton who passed away September 15, 2014. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Francis J. and Carrie S. (Lonaberger) Patton. Richard attended Reading High School and served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Naval Reserve. He was last employed by Rozzi Window Manufacturing Company, Inc.-Reading. He is survived by: One Son: Derek M. Patton, husband of Mary M. Matetich-Patton of Exeter Township and One Daughter: Robin L. Patton of Nashville, TN; Grandchildren: Joel T. Matetich, Nathan M. Patton and Karleigh A. Patton; One Great-Grandchild: Sawyer J. Matetich; One Brother: Robert R. Patton, husband of Arlene of Sinking Spring and Three Sisters: Shirley J. wife of Edward Pienta of Georgetown, DE, Donna M. wife of Philip Ferragame of Reading and Cathy L. Miller of Exeter Township. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Bernard P. and Charles F. “Pete” Patton and his sister, Barbara A. Malecki. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am-12:00 noon on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn. Inurnment private at the convenience of the family.
