Diane Grace Pelley, 78, of Mohnton, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017, in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Rudolph A. Pelley (Mo), with whom she shared 61 years of marriage, friendship, and adventure. Diane and Mo lived in Canada, America, and the African countries of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, and Zimbabwe as they pursued their commitment to live their lives in service to others. Born in Chilliwack, British Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Roslyn and Reginald French. Diane was a member of the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church and was happy to volunteer wherever needed. She worked as an Executive Secretary for the Pennsylvania Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her son Bruce and daughter-in-law Cresidel; daughter Barbara, son-in-law Vito, and grandson Nicolas; brother Robert Collin and sister-in-law Sandy; brother-in-law Lester Pelley and wife Judy; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends whom she considered family. There will be visitation with family and friends at the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2706 Old Pricetown Road, Temple, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Internment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township, after the service.
