Peggy Ann Petri (Johnson)

Peggy Ann (Johnson) Petri, 94, of Temple, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Petri Jr., who passed away February 25, 2003. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George and Ida (Potteiger) Johnson. Peggy graduated from Mt. Penn High School in 1946, and was a member of Epiphany Lutheran. Peggy was the bookkeeper and notary for her husband's mechanic and auto sales business. She loved sewing, church, and her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Peggy A. (Petri) Graeff, wife of Barry, and her daughter-in-law Rose, widow of Henry. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Amanda Lane, Gregory Graeff, Henry J. Petri IV, and Kelly Boettger. and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with services beginning at 11:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
