Darrell L Phillips

Darrell L Phillips, 75, of Exeter Township, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, in his home. He was the husband Mary (Fritch) Phillips. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Paul and Jane (Lott) Phillips. Darrell was a graduate of Exeter High School, as well as a graduate of Spring Garden Institute. Darrell enjoyed a successful career as a Maintenance Tech. for Exxon Mobile for 32 years until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Darrell is survived by his son Mark A., of AZ, two grandchildren; Madison and Ezra Gonzales, as well as his great-granddaughter Aria Rose Gonzales. He is also survived by one brother Gary Phillips, husband of Jayne. Darrell was predeceased by his son Kevin.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Rd, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Schwarzwald Lutheran Church. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
