Vera R. Phipps (Rhudy)

Vera R. Phipps, age 89, of Cumru Township, passed away Wednesday Morning, July 3rd at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Horton M. Phipps who passed away March 10,2013, with whom she had celebrated 65 years of marriage. Born in Elk Creek, VA she was a daughter of the late Blake and Maude Rhudy. Vera is survived by: One Daughter: Lizbeth Ann wife of Dennis Hafer of Exeter Township and One Son: Gregory R. Phipps of Cumru Township. Vera was pre-deceased by two brothers and two sisters: B.D. Rhudy of Independence, VA, Quintin Cooledge Rhudy of Independence, VA, Greta Duckworth of Charlotte, NC and Jackie Palmer of High Point, NC. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
