William Charles Portner

William C. Portner, 66, formerly of Reading, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in his Dover, DE residence. He was the husband of Denise (Jarmon) Portner. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Jean F. (Katerman) Gilmore and Charles R. Portner of Reading. William is survived by his son, Eddie J. Troupe; siblings, Julieann Epler, Barry Portner, Cynthia Portner and Stephen Portner. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn, PA 19606.
