Paul E. Reeser, 80, formerly of Reading and Ormond Beach, FL passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Masonic Village-Elizabethtown. He was the widower of Jeanne M. (Perkins) Reeser who passed away September 5, 2014.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul E., Sr. and Lilyan (Flatt) Reeser. He was a graduate of Mount Penn High School and was the past master of the Isaac Hiester Lodge #660 and member of consistory and the Shrine. Paul was an avid baseball fan having been the former announcer for the Reading Indians. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ormond Beach, FL. Paul was the owner/operator of Wm. O. Flatt Printing Co .and was employed by Berks County serving as tipstaff for Judge Thomas Eshelman; retiring in 1994. After retirement, he became active in Florida on state level of AARP. He is survived by: Two Daughters: Rev. Vicki L. Reeser of York and Melanie L. wife of Robert Bechtel of Reading; Grandchildren: Daniel Wagner, Chris and Jonathon Bechtel and One Great-Grandchild: Annabelle Bechtel. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 in West Lawn United Methodist Church 15 Woodside Ave. Reading, PA 19609. Interment private in Laureldale Cemetery.
