Richard R. Reifsnyder

Richard R. Reifsnyder, 91, formerly of Lower Alsace Township, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 in Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center. He was the widower of Gene K. (Hurley) Reifsnyder who passed away March 9, 2013. They had celebrated 65 years of marriage together. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Edward R. Sr. and Grace (Bartlet) Reifsnyder. Richard was a member of Kenhorst Blvd. Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the Veteran's Association. He was the owner/operator of Reifsnyder Window Service Richard is survived by two sisters, Ruth Rothenberger of Wyomissing and Dorothy Fellows of Georgetown, TX. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Edward R. Jr., Ralph, Harold and James and his sister, Ethel Hohberger. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
