Richard G. "Dick" Arms

Richard G. "Dick" Arms, 92, of Wernersville, PA, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 in his home. He was the husband of Christine A. (Minor) Arms, with whom he celebrated 21 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late George and Florence K. (Brown) Arms. Dick graduated from Reading High School and proudly served his country in The United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Dick worked for Carpenter Technology for 30 years until his retirement. He was well known in Berks County for his golfing career and won many tournaments and trophies. He had many other interests, such as, cycling, traveling, swimming and fishing. Dick was a friend of Bill W. for 44 years where he made many friends.

In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by his children; Vince Arms, husband of Beth, of Pennside, Steve Arms, husband of Audrey, of Mt. Penn, Richie Arms, of North Carolina, Kelly Arms, of Temple, Drew Egbert, Donna Egbert, Mark Egbert, Janice Woods, and Tracey Lane, as well as Doug Bachman, David Bachman, Dennis Bachman, and Danielle Goodman. He also had many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dick was predeceased by his son George Arms.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
