Robert E. Troxel

Robert E. "Ducky" Troxel, 90, of Wyomissing, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024 in Country Meadows Retirement Communities. He was the husband of the late Loretta L. (Ney) Troxel. Born in Jacksonwald, PA, he was the son of the late Walter H. and Mary F. (Herbert) Troxel. Robert graduated from Mt. Penn High School, class of 1951. He was a member of St. John's U.C.C. for over 50 years, where he was also a part of the Senior and Praise choirs. Robert served on the board of Trustee's and Elders, as well as a Consistory member and past Congregational President. He is currently a member of Bausman Memorial U.C.C. in Wyomissing. Robert belonged to P.O.S.A Washington Camp #230 - St. Lawrence, PA. He worked as a driver salesman for St. Lawrence Dairy and Clover Farms for 45 years, retiring in 1996.

Robert is survived by his children; Glenn W. Troxel, husband of Kristie, of New Hampshire, and Debra L. Kasper, wife of Donald, of Mohnton. He is also survived by his companion of 15 years Sue Lewis, of Wyomissing, two grandchildren; Kristen Steigerwalt, wife of Peter, and Daniel Kasper, husband of Hailey, as well as two great-grandchildren; Wesley, and Blair.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading PA 19606. Interment will follow at Schwarzwald Cemetery, Jacksonwald, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bausman Memorial U.C.C., 1064 Penn Avenue, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
