Deira E Robertson (Garrett)

Deira E. (Garrett) Robertson, 92, of Shillington, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, in Mifflin Center. She was the wife of the late Gerald F. Robertson Jr., who passed away May 14, 2021. Born in Bath, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Hazel (Tetterton) Musser (Sylvester). Deira graduated from Reading Senior High School. She worked for Western Electric for many years until her retirement. Deira was very involved in Girl Scouts, women's bowling league, and bowled at bowl-o-rama.

Deira is survived by her children; Patti A. Swoyer, wife of Arch, of Fleetwood, and Susan M. Kauffman, wife of Eric, of Wyomissing, She is also survived by four grandchildren; Austin, and Ethan Swoyer, Madison and Sam Kauffman. As well as her brother, Sylvester "Sonny" Musser. Deira was predeceased by her brother, Jessie Garrett.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt Penn, Pennsylvania 19606.
