Evelyn M. Romich

Evelyn M. Romich, 78, formerly of Mount Penn, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 in Columbia Cottage-Wyomissing. Born in Amity Township, she was a daughter of the late Stanley E. and Catharine C. (Mertz) Romich. She was a graduate of Amity High School in 1954 and was a member of St. Paul’s U.C.C.-Amityville. Evelyn was employed as a clerk for Mt. Penn Trust, then Berks County Trust, American Trust then Meridian Bank for 31 years, retiring in April 1985, lastly working in the Consumer Loans Department doing microfilming. She is survived by her cousin-in-law Mrs. Henry Conrad and their daughters. She was pre-deceased by her cousin Henry Conrad. She is also survived by her close friend of many years, Priscilla Klusewitz and her friend Christopher Spang. Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:30 A.M. with funeral services beginning at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. Mount Penn.
