Gail Romig

Gail Romig, 75, of Exeter Township, passed away September 30, 2014 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Carol L. (Bechtel) Romig with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage. Born in Birdsboro, he was a son of the late Stanley and Dorothy (Lott) Romig. Gail was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church-Birdsboro. He was employed by Crompton and Knowles for 32 years and then part time for the Birdsboro Community Center. Gail always stayed active and loved helping others. He was a hard worker, had a huge heart and always put others before himself. Gail was the loving father of Two Sons: Timothy and Terry Romig both of Birdsboro and Two Daughters: Tammy Huber of Exeter Township and Tina Miller of Douglassville and the loving grandfather of Eleven Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Donald and Kenneth and his sister Linda Romig. He was also pre-deceased by a half brother Harold Boone. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. with funeral services beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. Mount Penn. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park-Reiffton.
