Virginia R. (Ginny) Romig, 80, of Birdsboro, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 in her residence . She was the wife of Gary L. Romig Sr. with whom she would have celebrated sixty years of marriage in June. Born in Robesonia, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Pauline E.(Rothermel) Raezer. Virginia was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Birdsboro. She was a wonderful artist and loved painting. She loved all children, especially her own. Virginia loved watching baseball, attending auctions as well as attending all of her grandchildren's activities. Virginia was a waitress for nearly 50 years last working at Schmeck's Villa in Exeter. She is survived by four sons: Randall L. husband of Barbara of Douglassville, Gary L. Jr. husband of Robin of Collegeville, Mark D. partner of Alan Gerber of Florida, and Chris A. husband of Ivy of Womelsdorf, one daughter: Lisa B. wife of Troy Bingaman of Exeter, 10 grandchildren Ken, Jeff, Matt, Katie, Erin, Kelli, Gary III, Jennifer, Alyssa, Jonathan, and one great grandchild Khloe, She is also survived by one brother Richard Raezer and sisters, Shirley Davis, Barbara Blankenbiller, Patricia Williams, Janice Koch, Mary Margharito and June Ulrich. She was predeceased by grandson Ben, brother William Raezer and sister Sandra Mervine. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn. Interment is private.
