Ronald W. Stoudt

Ronald W. Stoudt, 81, of West Lawn, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Country Meadows Retirement Communities with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Judith A. (DeLong) Stoudt, of West Lawn. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Walter and Virginia (Bare) Stoudt. Ronald was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1960. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, Peacetime. Ronald was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, serving on the property committee, as an usher, and a volunteer for the food bank. He was also a firefighter and the fire prevention lieutenant at Spring Township Fire Company. Ronald worked in the electrical construction and maintenance of Sub Stations for Met-Ed for 33 years, retiring in 2001. 

In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his children; Gregory A., husband of Desiree Stoudt, of West Lawn, and Sherry L. Hushen, of Sinking Spring. He is also survived by 5 grandsons; Greg, Elijah, Kaiden, Joshua, and Gabriel. Ronald was predeceased by his step-mother Pearl Stoudt and brother Kenneth Stoudt.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with services beginning at 12:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1559 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19602. There will be a shuttle service available from the funeral home parking to church starting at 11:00 am and ending at 1:45 pm Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606.
