Betty M. Rudy

Betty M. Rudy, 84, formerly of Reading, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the widow of Donald W. Rudy, Sr. who passed away July 26, 2012 with whom she had celebrated 63 years of marriage. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Wentzel) Bowers. She was employed by Arkay Knitting Mills which then became Sew-Mohr Knitting Mills for many years until her retirement. Betty is survived by: One Son: Donald W. Rudy, Jr. husband of Linda of Reading; One Daughter: Denise J. Rudy longtime companion of George Killoran of Birdsboro; Four Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren; One Brother: William J. Bowers of California and One Sister: Beatrice Bossler of Carlisle. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Charles and Robert Bowers. Services and Interment Private at the convenience o f the family.
