Edward A. Rupp

Edward Rupp, 91, of Reading, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, July 30, 2018, with his granddaughter Tina and her husband Brian by his side. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Peffley) Rupp who passed away on March 23, 1988. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Franklin and Effie (Alexander) Rupp. Edward worked at Dana Corporation for 32 years as a crane operator until his retirement in 1985 and served in the United States Army. Edward is survived by two sons Robert Hafer and Edward L. Rupp; two daughters Rosemary Rupp and Donna Paredes; eight grandchildren including Tina M. Kondracki; fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by one daughter Jean Mallard. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:30 am in Berks County Memorial Gardens 201 Evansville Road Fleetwood, PA 19522.
