Charlotte R. Saldivar (Crabtree)

Charlotte Rose (Crabtree) Saldivar "Chic", 83, of Temple, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, in her home. She is the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. William Henry Crabtree of Birdsboro. Charlotte Saldivar was born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Columbia County. She was a former member of the Women's American Legion, post #288. She resided in Chesapeake, VA with her deceased husband for 10 years, and then moved back to Berks County in 2002 where she resided before her marriage to Joe Henry Saldivar. Joe Henry Saldivar died at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in 2000. He was a retired 30 year veteran of The United States Navy. He spent the last 22 years of his career stationed at Norfolk, VA with the VRF-31 air ferry storkliners.

Charlotte is survived by her son Kenneth A. Evans, husband of Tracy, as well as three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Charlotte was predeceased by her daughter Sherry Kemp and her sister Sharon L. (Crabtree) Yahn.
