Brenda J. Sands (Nissley)

Brenda J. Sands, 54, formerly of Reading and currently of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away Sunday, March 23rd, 2014 in Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL. She was the wife of Brett Sands. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. “Red” Nissley and her mother who still survives her, Barbara A. (Zawaski) Nissley of Douglassville. Brenda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was involved with the Red Cross. She was a paralegal for many years in Baltimore, MD. In addition to her husband and mother, Brenda is survived by: Two Sons: Ryan Sands husband of Stephanie of Phoenix, AZ and Calvin Sands of Ft. Myers; One Daughter: Megan wife of Skip Warner of Orem, UT; Two Grandchildren; Two Brothers: Charles A. Nissley, Jr. husband of Evelyn of San Diego, CA and Jeffrey D. Nissley husband of Michele of Laureldale, PA and Two Sisters: Diane S. wife of Michael Strauss of Virginia Beach, VA and Jeanette C. wife of Keith Juryea of Birdsboro, PA.
