David R Sawyer

David R. Sawyer, 42, of Oley Township, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of Jennifer (Quinton) Sawyer. Born in Bethlehem, Pa, he was the son of Deanna (Mearhoff) Sawyer; New Jersey, and the late Thomas Sawyer, Allentown, PA. David attended Catasauqua High School, and graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute with an associates degree in electrical engineering. David had a successful career as an IC Layout designer at Wireless Microsystems for many years and later worked as an independent contractor doing layout design in the semiconductor industry.

In addition to his wife and mother, David is survived by two daughters Makenna and Jillian. Also surviving are his siblings Andrew Sawyer husband of Miriam; Levittown, Katie wife of Robert Harner; Pottstown, step-father Charles Mann; New Jersey and great grandmother Dorothy Mearhoff; Pottstown.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a 529 college savings plan has been set up for Makenna and Jillian (in Makenna's name only).
