Helen M. Schaeffer (Weiler)

Helen M. (Weiler) Schaeffer, 94, of Douglassville, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021, in Pottstown Hospital. She was the wife of the late Merrill Schaeffer. Born in Birdsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late WIlliam Weiler and Mary (Squibb) Weiler. Helen worked as a packer at Godiva Chocolate for many years until her retirement.

Helen is survived by her daughter Linda D. Guadagno, Stowe; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Gloria J. Proudman, and her brother William Weiler.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Amity Manor Resident's Fund, 1131 Benjamin Franklin Hwy, Douglassville, PA 19518 or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Rd, Douglassville, PA 19518.
