Donald Schwambach

Donald Schwambach, 80, of St. Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in Reading Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Betty C. (Schaeffer) Schwambach, of St. Lawrence, with whom he celebrated 61 and half years of marriage. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Verna (Schaeffer) Schwambach. Don attended Oley Valley School, and was a member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Don was a truck driver for most of his life, lastly working at Supervalu as a warehousemen until his retirement. Don was known for visiting his local shooting range and was always seen wearing his custom t-shirts. He enjoyed working out at local gyms throughout his life.

In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his children; Jody, husband of Shelley, Jay, husband of Deb, and Donna McHugh. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Stefanie, Max, Kristofer, Kimberly, Mark, and his step-grandson Chris, great-grandchildren; Penelope, and Fitzgerald, as well as his sisters; Pearl Heffner, and Ellen Lill. In addition, he left behind his beloved dog, Holly. Don was predeceased by his siblings; Geraldine Larkin, and Paul.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm with services beginning at 5:30 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt.
