Catherine E. Seiz

Catherine E. Seiz, 93, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in her residence. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Mary A. (Hill) Seiz. Catherine was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School in 1939 and was employed by Penn Optical in Reading as a bench hand for 39 years, before retiring. She is survived by her nephews Donald, Raymond, Jr. and Bruce Seiz and her niece Patricia Pisano and multiple great-nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Robert, Raymond and Carl and her sisters Helen Smith and Anna M. Seiz. She was also pre-deceased by three nephews and two nieces. Services and Interment private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary Lou Seiz to benefit the Activity Fund at Providence House.
