Julianne R Seiz (Guthman)

Julianne R. (Guthman) Seiz, 64, of Exeter Township, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Bruce R. Seiz, Exeter Township. Born in Hornell, New York, she was the daughter of Ruth (Twietmeyer) Guthman, Utica, NY; and the late James Guthman. Julie attended Utica Free Academy, NY; got her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the Crane School Of Music, Potsdam, NY, and attended graduate classes at West Chester University. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, and directed hand bells. Julie taught at the Wyndcroft School in Pottstown for many years. She was also the Director of Exeter Community Chorus for five years, and was a Master Gardener.

In addition to her husband and mother, Julie is survived by her children Julia C. Seiz, and Jordan D. Seiz, Maine; siblings Charlene Young, New Hartford, NY; Linda Zutter, Madison, AL; and Arthur Guthman, Greenville, VA. Also surviving are three nieces and one nephew.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with services beginning at 12:00 pm in Reformation Lutheran Church 3670 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church.
