Louise N. Shade (Haring)

Louise "Dolly" N. (Haring) Shade, 88, of Topton, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Shade, with whom she celebrated 67 years of marriage. Born in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Kline) Haring. Dolly graduated from Kutztown High School in 1952. She enjoyed cross stitching, painting, crossword puzzles, reading, Christmas, and spending time with her family.

Dolly is survived by her children; Donna Shiffer, Debra Hutchinson, wife of Scott, Linda Jones, and Michael Shade, husband of Jacqueline. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Caleb, Kara, Clark, Alexander, Selene, Morgan, and Claire, as well as her great-grandchildren; Mabel, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Zoe, Aaron, Lillian, and Aiden.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
