Allan M Smith

Allan M. Smith, 75, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021, in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Linda L. (Savage) Smith, whom he celebrated 28 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charles and Stella (Oziemkiewicz) Smith. Allan graduated from Reading High class of 1963. He was the owner and operator of Charles Chips for many years. Allan loved Reading High basketball, fishing, car shows, and beach vacations.

In addition to his wife, Allan is survived by his children Marcie L. Miller, Exeter; Kelly N. Wendler, wife of Jeff, Exeter; Stephanie A. Goodrich, wife of Ray, Birdsboro; and Stacey L. Thomas, wife of Dwain, North Carolina. Also, surviving are ten grandchildren: Taylor, Reed, Carter, Peyton, Sophia, Morgan, Sean, Nicholas, Amanda, Ashly. Allan was predeceased by his sister Barbara Luigard.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with services beginning at 1:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, Pa 19606.
