Jeannette Smoot, 95, formerly of Reading, passed away onThursday, June 26, 2014 in Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center. Born in Salisbury, MD, she was a daughter of the late Homerand Geneva (Gordy) Smoot. She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1937.
Jeannette worked as a legal secretary for Covington and Burling in Washington D.C..
