Forrest K. Snyder, aka "Snook/Bernie" 78, formerly of St. Lawrence and Stony Creek, passed away, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of Earlene (Lorah) Snyder. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Kenneth C. and Naomi (Dornblaser) Snyder. After his mother's passing, hours after his birth, he was raised by his father's brother LeRoy and Mary "Murnie" Herman Snyder. Snook was a proud member of the Exeter High School class of 1957 and worked as a maintenance mechanic for 38 years at Stanley G. Flagg in Stowe. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, Snook is survived by three sons, Barry L. of Spring Township, Brian S. of Spring Township and Dale E. husband of Amy of Salisbury NC; four grandchildren Kyle, Justin, Kenny, Alex; and two sisters Angeline "Cookie" Robertson wife of James and Ruth Santell wife of Tom. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 9:30 am -11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Mt. Penn. Interment is private.
